Location. Location. Location! From Pine Cone Cabin you have easy access to all the adventures Columbia Valley has to offer. There's sledding, skiing, tubing, ice-fishing, snowshoeing, restaurants and so much more. You definitely won't get bored staying here! The large living space is filled with natural light, the family rec room with pool table in the lower level, and the comfortable bedrooms make this property perfect for groups or a family.
The space
Pine Cone Cabin is the ideal family retreat in Radium. It is a large property with a large deck and cozy backyard and parking for at least two vehicles out front.ENTRANCE AND OUTSIDE
There are a few steps up to the decked entrance area. On the deck you will also find a BBQ and outdoor seating with table. If you follow the deck round to the side of the property you will find the entrance door, and if you keep going there is a second level of deck that steps down to the grassed backyard. In the backyard you will find a Sauna, a shed (no access) and a fire-pit: Just bring your own wood.
MAIN LIVING SPACE
As you walk into the main living area you will appreciate the abundance of natural light through the large apex windows. There is a wood fireplace (bring your own wood or firelogs), large TV, couches, dining table, closet space, and a fully equipped kitchen.
KITCHEN
The kitchen has all the amenities you need to whip up a meal or snack. There's a dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, and even a fondue set all for your personal use. We make sure you have salt, pepper, cooking oil, and fresh coffee beans during your stay, so just bring everything else.
From the main living area, you have access to the main bathroom and bedroom, and stairs to the lower level.
BEDROOMS
On the main level is the master bedroom with one queen bed and one twin. Each is dressed in hotel-quality bed linens for your comfort. The master bedroom is adjoined to the main bathroom (Jack and Jill doors). Down on the lower level, you will find two more bedrooms: a single bunk and a queen. Each bedroom has some storage for your use.
LOWER-LEVEL LOUNGE SPACE
In addition to the two bedrooms, and bathroom on the lower level is a fantastic family lounge area complete with TV, pool table, and wet bar! As you would expect there are sofas, children's toys, and a fireplace (currently not working).
BATHROOMS
On the upper level, you will find the main bathroom, which is adjoined to the master bedroom, and on the lower, you will find another bathroom. Each has a shower over the tub and comes stocked with fluffy towels, locally-made hand soap, and body wash/shampoo.

Please only access the golf course via their main entrance - do not cut through from the property.
Sledding up Forster, Brewer Creek, Doctor Creek, Rocky Point, Silver Mine, Paradise, Tiger Pass and many more! Snowmobile information can be found, and trail passes can be purchased online at the WVSS website.
Skiing at Panorama Resort, Kicking Horse Resort, Lake Louise, Fairmont Ski Hill. Several hot springs nearby.
Tubing, Ice Fishing, Snowshoeing, Restaurants, Whiteway ski and skate etc.
Centrally located right in the middle of Columbia Valley!

House Rules
- Quiet time is from 11 pm - 7 am.- No smoking on the deck, balconies, or inside the property/unit.
- Use the cigarette disposal outside all times. No smoking in the house. Never throw butts in the driveway or yard.
- Limited pets - see rules below.
- No parties.
- No sports equipment inside the property.
- Access to the golf course is only permitted by their main entrance.
- Do not track mud or any work-related mess into the unit. Furthermore, please do not bring work materials or supplies into the property. Instead, use allocated storage locations.
- Please dispose of all your own garbage during your stay with us (including at checkout) as there are no local garbage collection services.
- There is no street parking permitted and while trailers can be parked on lots for a period of time, we are not allowed to have guests camping in the trailers as per the bylaws.
- No fires during fire bans
PET RULES
- No cats.
- Maximum 2 dogs.
- Although we are pet friendly we do not supply any toys, bowls, beds, or cages. Please bring these with you. However, we do have a supply of rag towels to wipe paws.
- We do not allow breeds of animals that are known as heavy shedders or extremely active.
- Do not leave the animals unattended in the property.
- You are liable for all damage inside or out that is caused by your pet.
- Please adhere to all local bylaws - please visit the local city website for more information.
SAUNA RULES
- Strictly, no alcohol, no children, and no pregnant persons
- Drink lots of water - if you feel light-headed, please exit the sauna, sit on the ground, and drink some water.
- For your safety, the maximum usage is 25-30 minutes per session and only one session per day per person.
- During the snowy season do not roll in the snow and enter the sauna - this will stain the benches and ultimately damage the sauna. If you do wish to shock your body, please do so with a cold shower: this will also help to remove any impurities on the skin.
- Do not use the sauna if you are alone in the house. Always notify someone you know when you use the sauna so they can check in on you regularly.
- Do not put your bare skin on the wood benches, always use a towel under your body: body sweat will stain the benches.
- Do not bring in any electronic devices, candles, or plastic materials that could melt in the sauna.
- Please be respectful to the neighbours and do not use the sauna after 10 pm.
- After use, always turn off the sauna.
- Please wipe down the benches and clean the sauna after each use. Any misuse of the sauna during your stay will incur charges. For your peace of mind, we check the sauna before and after every guest's stay.
- Finally, relax! The sauna is not a gym, it is meant to be enjoyed through sitting and relaxing.
Please note, that a fine of up to $1000 will be issued, and you could be asked to vacate if the house rules are not obeyed. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
Please note, checkout is strictly 10 am unless otherwise approved by us, or booked through the booking platform. Failure to check out on time incurs a $100 fine.

it's a beautiful cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Close to everything you need from Radium. loved the pool table and sauna and wrap around deck! wonderful spot that we plan on using again!
Great house for teenagers. The pool table nailed it! We thought the location was a bit far from Golden and Banff area. In Radium Hot spings is not much going on.

Very nice place and well taken care of. Close to the hot springs. We went to Beeland which was small but had spectacular views! We took advantage of a nice trail that was walkable for us and our dogs.
We loved staying here! It was the perfect fit for our family, the basement bedrooms were such a hit with the kids. Loved the mountain views from the porch and how close it was to town. Very peaceful and relaxing! Thanks for the great stay
We had a wonderful time at Pine Cone Cabin. It was perfect, the sauna and pool table were a fun and luxurious bonus. We would absolutely stay here again!
Although we had some trouble with the lock code getting in, the stay was exactly as expected. Very clean and wonderful. A little bit of a busy street with other cottages, but the scenery was beautiful and amenities were beyond expectation.
Very nice host and great cabin but be prepared to make room for your garbage in your vehicle as there’s no garbage pickup in Radium.
We were able to stay warm and cozy in our airbnb while the temperatures outside were very cold. It was a wonderful family vacation to celebrate a 30th birthday.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pine Cone Cabin! It was a bit of a drive to and from Banff, and Lake Louise however it is a beautiful drive. We hope to visit again. PS. My 13 year old son LOVED the pool table!
